Top-loading vs. tray-loading can have more of an impact on space issues than the size of the unit.

I don't know what specifically motivated these postings, but here is a three-part series by Alan Shaw on this very topic, posted November 8-9 of 2021.   The essence of good engineering is cost management. That is to say it is bad design - hence ...
Puritan PSM 156
All the sockets on the back are the same (i.e. none of them is designed/designated for particular types of equipment), so it's basically plug and play. There are two models of grounding unit, one for apartments and one for homes with access to th...
Do good power cords have to be stiff?
Just look at some of the Puritan videos on youtube.  The epitome of flexibility, combined with great performance.

Having fallen from the sublime to the ridiculous, this thread is pure     bathos.
I believe I experienced great PRAT for the first time

I need help describing the sound of a SET to a friend in English.
Three words come to mind. "Presence" and "air" = not only the enhanced sense that the performer(s) are there right in front of you, but also a sense of the space around them. "Bloom" = getting the timbre and the harmonics especially right, makin...
