Hold your horses.  Coming around February is the Technics SU-R1000 integrated, a very different kettle of digital fish.  It will be their first Reference class integrated amp.  150W doubling to 300W.  $9500. 
Subwoofers with current source First Watt?
There are certain amps (because of their topologies) that you can't hook up subs to in the usual way.  I know that Ayre is one of them.  Some of Aesthetix's designs.  Perhaps this one is too.
