Oppo 105 with DIY LPM is a giant killer (no dac needed)
When I was using Surfer silver XLRs the resultant sound was quite bright. As soon as I replacd them with WireWorld Series 8 the entire spectrum relaxed but at the same time has excellent detail

Aha, yes bright interconnects. I was using Surfer XLR ICs, which are silver, and yes, THEY were bright. As soon as I replaced them with WireWorld Series 8 the brightness went away

Get a pair of Harbor Freight dollys, put them under your speakers and start moving them around. First I suggest you cut the distance between you and the speakers by ~ 50%hth
