panasonic 50 inch vs. hitachi 55 Check out this link to see who is buying what. http://www.plasmatvbuyingguide.com/index.html. You will see the Panny's are the best rated plasma's on the planet. The 9UK, 60U and 600U Panny's use the same engine, but have different features. I sel...
Best bang for buck in HT speakers under $1,500 The Image series is great for a budget theater setup. The T55 performs well, but if you can squeeze into the T65, that would be a wonderful setup. We sell this setup all the time with great results (T55/C40/B15). Good luck.
A multi-channel amp approach that is musical PSB dealer here. The Parasounds will drive these nicely and both series from Parasound are very musical.
Sunfire vs. Outlaw The new Sunfire sounds good for music as well as HT. The Outlaw isn't going to win any 2 channel awards and for that matter neither will the Sunfire, but I've always been a fan of Sunfire and it does sound good and a lot better than the Outlaw IMO...
aerial and salamander Yes, the Salamander can accommodate the CC5 with the optional riser.
Dynaudio Contour T2.5 vs C3.4 The 2.5 (retired) is a fine speaker as is the 3.4. If you need to place these near to the back or side wall, you might experience some boominess with 3.4. They do come with foam port plugs to gives those an option. As long as you've got some dista...
driving LSi15s The Parasound New Classic Series is nearly identical in sound quality, but lacks the super pretty chassis the Halo has. Being a Parasound dealer myself I would not hesitate recommending to anyone that is interested in saving a few dollars going wi...
Limited size for bookshelf speakers...help?? Tough size constraint to deal with only having 8" depth. I would recommend the Dynaudio Audience 42, which sound great up against the back wall (use the provided foam port plugs). Plays loud and clean compared to most others the same size.
B&W, Dynaudio, Dali or what else? Spending this kind of money I would suggest you listen first to each to form your own impression.I prefer the Dali's over the B&W 802D only because I dislike the 802 so much. But, I would easily rank the Dynaudio's over both. I am somewhat bia...
driving LSi15s The Parasound A21 is a phenominal combination with the LSi15.
recommendation for best $1500 speakers? I would look in a few others before I went the JBL route. Try to find and audition PSB Image, Dynaudio Audience 72, Polk LSi-15. All can be had around your $ figure and are top notch performers. The Polk's do cause some problems with some receiver...
Opinions on Onix Reference 1 monitors?? In the $1200-$1500 range I can think of two better sounding speakers. The Dynaudio Focus 110 and the Polk Audio LSi-9. The Dynaudio is equal to the Onix finish and is every bit as sexy. One thing I did notice, the Onix can sound bright with some m...
Dynaudio 52se or Focus 110 ? Smitty, the 52se has an advantage over the 110 in the bass department with the larger driver and cabinet. The highs will be identical in both. In the looks department the Focus 110 kicks the Audience series to the ground. If it were me, I would pr...
Best Small Sub It looks like you want to stay in the $1200 range on budget? I would recommend staying with the Dynaudio for your sub as well. I carry all the equipment you have listed, so hopefully you take this as an informative opinion. Nice start to a great s...
VR-1 or Onix Reference 1?? Yo Mikey! What happened to the Dynaudio Focus 110's? Can't believe you would have sold those in favor of the Ref1's!!!The VR-1's I do like and prefer over the Ref1's. Both have great build qualities and finish is outstanding. It sounds like you ar... |
