I was in the other room a little bit ago when Roon Radio decided to play a Nina Simone track ("I Want A Little Sugar In My Bowl").  I immediately recognized it was Nina Simone, of course, which made me think, "Nobody else sounds like Nina Simone."...

The question wasn't what we like.  It was what helped determine our musical tastes.  I like CCR, but it didn't introduce me to any genre, style, or sub-genre I hadn't heard before.  By the time I heard CCR, I'd already heard southern rock/swamp ro...

I imagine there must be some audiophiles arguing that one has to listen to jazz or classical to enjoy one's system.  We're talking about audiophiles, after all.  Some audiophiles argue one has to use cable risers to enjoy one's system.  Some audio...

Cats seem to be into analog.  I bought my Gyrodec SE from a guy who was selling it because his cats couldn't leave the platter weights alone. 
How eclectic is your taste in music?
Probably half my enjoyment of opera is following the actors as they move around on the stage.  Left and right.  Forward and back.  It's an audiophile thing. :-P
