Advice on DSP streamer
Easter egg?  Fuzziness, you comment is very helpful as I was afraid that there would be a degradation of SQ going from the Bluesound to the Studio.  No brainer, then, unless the NAD M10 is much better than the Studio/Cambridge combination.
Advice on DSP streamer
erik_squires - I spent several hours trying to learn about the Roon room correction feature.  I came away thoroughly confused.  Roon's website has next to nothing.  On other sites it appears that you need to create filters with third-party softwar...

Sorry, I meant NAD 658 not 638
How do you enhance a bad listening room's accoustics without breaking the bank? thoughts?
I'm a little surprised that no one has recommended DSP as a potential solution for the OP.  There are several very good integrated amps with DSP built-in.  That might help especially with bass management.  In fact, even the low-end SVS subs now co...
WHAT SONG TOUCHES YOUR HEART THE MOST?
I asked my wife and she said Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads.  I think I'm  in trouble.
System forclassical music
JJSS49 - My friends may prefer new, but I personally would be very tempted by the Spendors and Hegel.  I would probably still add a sub, though.  Tempting.

Fredapplegate, no problem.  The YouTube performance was beautiful, even on my IEMs.  Maybe I should explore more classical...I don't think my friends want to replace their in-wall system with another in-wall system.  My impression is  that they ar...

Yes, I did mean Charpontier.  As is obvious, I'm not a CM fan.I don't know the preferred source yet; I just assumed it would be streaming.I doubt that they want in--wall speakers in a new system.  It just what they have now.I didn't know that SACD...

Very helpful comments.  Many thanks.  By the way, the little demo I gave my friends was on Wharfedale Jade 3's and an SVS sub, driven by a Cambridge CXA-81 (using the CXA's DAC).
British Integrated Amps
OP, I too am a fan of the British sound, having in house Wharfdale, Mission and Celestion speakers.  Current main system uses Jade 3's.  Having been a Harmon Kardon amp user for years I recently bought a Cambridge CXA81.  A very good value for the...

I forgot to mention that the NAD C658 BlueOS includes an integrated implementation of Dirac Live!
Acoustic treatment
To update everyone on this thread, I went over the SVS sub set up, lowered the crossover frequency and played a lot with the phase setting.  Incorrect sub setup was the cause of most of the mid-range resonance. I did order some IsoAcoustic pucks t...
Coupling/Decoupling Electronics
Sorry for the dumb question,  but what is a compliant footer?
Acoustic treatment
I have a thick oriental carpet on the floor.  Following geof3's recommendation, I put my tube traps at the side first reflection points with the foil half toward the speakers, thus acting as a diffuser for mid and higher frequencies.  It definitel...
