Starting my showroom again
@nashvillehifi I will add my 2cents even though I know little about the inside of this industry.  I am a successful entrepreneur and have experience in venture capital, though.  I encourage you to follow your passion, but with some hard-stop cavea...
Advice on Sterling LS3/6
I might add that Andrew did a phenomenal job packing up the pair of LS3/6 that I bought.  Jeff Stake was a pleasure to do business with, too.
Discerning a difference between streamers is difficult...only me or common for all?
OP - I, too, was prepared to climb the upgrade ladder on streamers but have creased, at least for the time being.  I went from a Bluesound Node 2i using its DAC, to using the Node 2i as a streamer but a Cambridge CXA81 DAC, to a miniDSP SHD stream...
Weak link
+1 for Bacch4Mac, but Edgar (the inventor) will tell you that you absolutely need to treat the first reflection points.  Best of luck.
New Speakers under consideration - but I’m afraid
@OP - You might want to give some thought to an alternative option, namely Theoretica's Bacch4Mac sound processing system.  It is The Absolute Sound 's 2024 product of the year: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xq48klNJ8i0 Here is Steve Guttenberg'...
Speaker Suggestions for Next Move
OP - I'd like to respectfully suggest that before you traded in your Klipsch speakers you consider another solution for your desired "scale in presentation."  I have had the Theoretica Bacch4Mac application for spacial realism and the Bacch ORC fo...
Is there Tannoy Magic / Should I buy a pair of Tannoys as "accessory" speaker?
At Axpona '23 and '24 the larger floor-standing Tannoy's were stand-outs.  I could have listened to them all day.  Best of luck.
Is It Worh Modding An Amp
I had Ric Schultz mod my GaN1 and it sounds terrific,  but if I had to sell it I wouldn't recover any of the $500 the mod cost.  It's a risk.

Sorry, my confusion.  It's Doug Sterling who is retiring and shutting down Stirling Broadcasting, not Derek Hughes.  Thanks for the correction.

@grislybutter Jeff said to email or call him and he would see if Stirling can send another pair of LS3/6.  Google Jeff Stake HiFi in Bloomington, IN
Advice on Sterling LS3/6
Oh, the Bacch system is very interesting.  Using it in a suboptimal room now, but with well-recorded tracks the effects are terrific. Imaging and soundstage are taken to a new level.  To give just one example, in Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side, ...
Advice on Sterling LS3/6
@yogiboy The Quicksilver amps look great, and reasonably priced.  Funny you should mention the Van Alstine SET amps as I had my eye on them for awhile.  Will check out both. @grislybutter I will ask Jeff if he can get another pair Thanks to ever...
Advice on Sterling LS3/6
@yogiboy The reason for looking for a new power amp is that I've implemented the Bacch4Mac system.  Edgar recommended that I not use the Gan1 even though I upgraded the RME interface to enable a coax out.  Long story.  Suffice it to say, I need an...
Advice on Sterling LS3/6
I am very impressed pairing my modded Peachtree Gan1 with my Spendor SP3/5R2 speakers,  so I thought I'd stay with the Gan or newer class D amps - but I'm open to tubes.  Any recommendations?  Budget is only about $2000, though.  Used is fine.

They really appear ideal for me.  I told Jeff I'll take them.  Many thanks for the comments.
