Anyone use a cartridge demagnetizer? I still use mine every 50 hours or so on all my moving coils, also use the degassing section of my Cardas album every few months or so. I have never had any negative effects with either of these, do I hear a difference after their use, hard to say...
Mint LP provides Stevenson Alignment @noromance, yes. @flatblackround, a protractor is the tool you use to set your cartridge up on the tables arm for optimum results.
Do you use VPI Anti-skating? I dress the cables for anti skate with my 3D arm but do use the hanging weight method when I use the metal arms.
Help with phono amp upgrade Even if the tubes are a little beat down, I believe Allnic is giving away a new set of NOS tubes for them as they did for the H1200 when the 1201 replaced it. Contact your dealer/distributor. Like Inna, I have never seen that phono go for anything...
WHAT TURNTABLE? The VPI Prime with the uni pivot 3D arm would be my choice, hard to beat for the money, as a matter of fact I have one in my main system with SDS, SMFA, Periferal ring and Stillpoints LPS record clamp running a ZYX Universe and it sounds heavenly.
Help with phono amp upgrade You will never know what a great phono stage the Allnic 1201 is until you replace that turntable. If your dealer sold you the Allnic for $1,000.00 you should absolutely give him a shot at your business on a new table, keep your cart till you get t...

Looking for a new (used) phono preamp to replace EAR834 There is a used, current model, Herron for sale here now for a little over your budget and a brand new Allnic H1500 for sale also for $3,500.00. The Allnic is a steal at that price.
Jimmy Page, It's time to call your lawyers? While we are on the subject, give the Train redue of Led Zeppelin II a listen, it was recorded live I believe and all money donated to a charity that they chose. Never was a Train fan prior to me getting this LP but I have to appreciate their talent.
Tracking Force? Yes, adjust the VTF to the recommended range and be prepared to align the cartridge alignment as part of your setup.

Unexpected Tom Petty "stamper" discovery That is really cool.
