VPI Cuing arm falling too fast @slaw, you assume to much, still laughing even harder now. Thank you

VPI Cuing arm falling too fast @slaw , you gotta stop giving people an open poke at ya. @stringreen , really, just how busy are you?
Your Top Five Blues LPs, SQ-wise... @awboat, Blues Summit is a great pick and if you like it you will love Deuces Wild from 1997, available on 180 gram vinyl, very well recorded and some more great duets. I love me some BB.
Fedex issues I am afraid to jinx myself but have had nothing but great service from Fedex, UPS not so much and USPS there are certain things I won't have shipped by them but on the whole they are much better than expected and getting better all the time.
Your Top Five Blues LPs, SQ-wise... Jimmy Witherspoon "Roots", featuring Ben Webster on Anolouge Productions 200 gram vinyl. Anyone that I have ever played this album for now owns it and the CD version sounds great as well.
Your Top Five Blues LPs, SQ-wise... @pesky_wabbit, point taken about the missed music if just seeking the best of recordings and totally agree with your statement.
Echo in the Canyon (documentar movie) Thanks for the heads up, will have to seek this out.
Have I gotten complacent? @yogiboy , we could have done with out that.
Your Top Five Blues LPs, SQ-wise... The above might be true to a certain degree but the better the sound quality the higher the emotional communication conveyed. Just sayin
Your Top Five Blues LPs, SQ-wise... @david3838, I am from New Iberia went to USL in 71 & 72, moved to Gretna in 72 to race motorcycles out of Honda West on Gretna Blvd so there is a very strong chance our paths have crossed.
VPI Classic quirk Wow tablejockey that could be ugly if you dropped the needle with it reversed, the perfect storm scenario and all.
Phono Pre Advice Allnic.
Have I gotten complacent? You are fine, know your system from previous post and we share a lot of things equipment wise. I am in a like position, other than replacing and repairing as things go down, I am done and feel great about it. Replaced VTL MB125s that were 20 years... |
