Moving to France
@asvjerry As a Canadian, my suggestion would be to act like a Canadian and then you don't need the shirt.
Moving to France
@mickeyb I live in Vancouver and Seattle is a lovely city. Beautiful scenery and great restaurants.As for France, over the years I have visited all four corners from San Sabastien to Avignon to Bordeaux and Paris. All of them were magical.Truth is...
Moving to France
@millercarbon Poop, no-go zones and needles? Please let me know where in France you went to see it in that light.On second thought, have you even been to France?
has anybody else noticed this about singers?
@richopp I agree 100%. Linda Ronstadt's voice seems to be linked to my soul. Listening to "Heart Like a Wheel" or "Prisoner in Disguise" is cathartic and can bring me to tears.A modern day Patsy Cline.

@tomic601Exactly.

This is an example of the "Neil Young Syndrome".Soul and passion are major components of how much we "believe" a singer.Case in point. Nina Simone does not have a great voice and Celine Dion does.

“When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?” — Arthur Conan DoyleTime to call in an exorcist.(Sorry for the flippant reply, but you have me stumped on this one.)
Help me understand "the swarm" in the broader audiophile world

How much space between cables is enough?
@danvignau Should I wear pants?
ls FM radio even listenable any more?
Prices for tuners have gone the same way as people buying dvd's.That should tell you something.I only listen to sports radio because I would rather control what I listen to, than depend on some disc jockey (do they still call them that?).
What other hobby...
+1 Wine and golf (not at the same time).
How much space between cables is enough?
@glupson You have blown my mind, dude.
How much space between cables is enough?
@danvignau Do I coil it around the water tank clockwise or counter clockwise?
Left and right subwoofers with integrated
@noble100 Thanks Tim.I am busy for a few days, followed by a 4 day golf holiday at Predator Ridge in Vernon, BC, so the crawling will have to wait for now.It sounds good in theory, but in a 700 sq ft condo there is not a lot of actual spots to put...
Left and right subwoofers with integrated
I appreciate your commitment to my possible problem, but I think I will try 50Khz first and unless it is obviously problematic I will invest my time in subwoofer placement and room treatment.
