Footers under my speakers double the perceived value of my speakers!
I only have experience with the Townsend Podiums. The bars incorporate the same isolators it seems. You could use them combined with a suitable platform material. Every material will have its own sonic signature, some will work better than others ...
Footers under my speakers double the perceived value of my speakers!
I’ve been advocating seismic isolation for speakers for some time, so I’m glad to hear of positive results from others. In my opinion some of the options mentioned above can be bettered. I’m not an advocate for either spikes or elastomer isolation...
Best isolation platform for a turntable with suspension?
OP, Symposium also make cup and rollers. You might also look at Lessloss Bindbreakers, no direct experience myself but I have read good things including use with turntables
Best isolation platform for a turntable with suspension?
Suggestion:Place your turntable on a platform made of slate 30/40 mm thick and square on plan. Under the slate use three Ingress Engineering cup and rollers in a equilateral triangle configuration.I predict excellent results from this low cost sol...

Which USB Re Clocker
I’ve tried loads of USB cables and they all sound different. Your money might be better spent on a better USB cable and/or dac.
Seeking advice on Speakers that create an intimate 2 channel listening experience
OP, suggest Cube Nenuphar’s with appropriate amplification. See thread on these speakers.
Is there a Solid State amp that can satisfy a SET guy?
@mglik, I highly recommend you listen to the Bakoon 13R. I use it with the Cube Nenuphar full range speakers but it drives less efficient speakers like Boenicke just fine as well. It’s also not ridiculously expensive. Here in the UK it’s £5,995 an...
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure
Bob, you will probably need longer spikes if the carpet is thick, in order that one maintains the gap as intended. Or arrange for them to stand on something solid.
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure
Bob, 8 inch is my recommendation as well. What’s your floor finish?
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure
I can’t comment on the Bakoon 41 with the Nenuphar’s, I only have experienced the Bakoon 13R with the Cubes and like Srajan have found the combination to be very compatible, so there has to be other factors at play here other than DF. I believe Sr...
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure
Nice to hear positive comments about the Bakoon from others. Thanks for posting David.
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure
There has to be other factors. As Srajan has said ( 6 Moons Bakoon 13R review) “ Of all the speakers I would saloon around on the Bakoon, Nenuphar was the hostess with the mostest”.
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure
Bakoon 13R is my preference with the Cubes. I’m using it with the Bakoon DAC21 which is out of production but I’m looking forward to a new dac from Bakoon in the imminent future. Physically the new dac will match the 13R. I’m expecting it not to c...
