Trying Magnepans, need advice
Here's a quote from a thread I started when I tried out a pair of Magnepan 12s. My room is small also and they just did not work for me. I would advise anyone thinking about Maggies to audition them in their room. 12-12-09: TimrhuThought I'd finis...
Review: Bel Canto Design e.One S300 Amplifier
I don't know about noise reduction technology but I can tell you one difference between the S300 and M300 is they use different ICE modules. I cracked them open for a look. Both amps use the 200ASC module but they have different current ratings. L...
Amp sounds thin
Difficult to say whether something is wrong with the amp. I owned a Classe CAP-151 a couple years ago and will say I never warmed up to it. Although I wouldn't have characterized it quite as strongly as you do, your description would be close to m...
Monitor; selling your best monitor.

NAD vs. Cambridge Audio
I have owned the NAD C352 and the Cambridge Audio 849A, not exactly what your looking at but I preferred the NAD. No contest in my mind.
Any suggestions for good obscure music?
Quadophile, I just ordered "Lost And Found." We'll see how it goes, I hope the music sounds as good as she looks.
When will rap music be less mainstream?
Rosanne Cash, "Interiors" if you don't have it, get it. Fantastic, dark album. There are a couple of country style cuts but the raw emotion is palpable throughout.

Class D amps, bang for your buck ones
No external power supply required if you buy one of the kits. Just an power cable. I keep telling myself to try the 125 watt version.
Help me solve static electricity problem
Get some dryer sheets and lightly dust your components. This works.
What monitor speakers mate well w/ Cambridge Audio
The LSi15s ain't bad either. I owned the LSi15s for nearly a year. They were replaced by a pair of Proac Response 1.5s in my room. There is a new thread on Audiodon in which the buyer is looking at the Proacs along with several other speakers. I g...
Let's say I'm looking for an a/v stand
standI've seen these stands at the dealer. They seem to be a bargain at this price. I'd buy one myself if I didn't have my DIY rack.No affiliation with seller.
ProAc vs Totem vs Usher, please comment
I owned the Proac Response 1.5s a couple years ago. My initial reaction was favorable. They did a lot of things right, but for me they lacked the three dimensional quality I like. Also have owned both Totem and Usher speakers but only their monito...
