At what price is one considered an Audiophile.
An audiophile is person with the pursuit of reproducing music as faithfully as possible by using hi fi equipment... Budget has no bearing. However, the pursuit can be quite expensive.

Room Too Dead
A heavily damped room is just fine..... IF  you can tow your speakers in toward your listening position.  When you are dampened everywhere, you lose your reflection and boundries.  So, to get a real idea of how well your speakers can throw a sound...
