Kharma, Wilson Sophia, JM Labs I'm confussed???? Nrchy:I have to agree ,I actually own the Kharma 1.0 also and recommended the 2.0 or 2.1 due to the actual closeness of sound to the 1.0. and the room size mentioned. I demo-ed 2.0 3.0 and 1.0 and they all sounded exceptional but haveing a large r...
Kharma, Wilson Sophia, JM Labs I'm confussed???? I think a used Kharma 2.0 or 2.1 would work nicely. Easy load, good bass, exceptional mids and highs and will work great in a medium size room.
Art Audio Diavolo I heard awhile back a set up of the Diavolo and an older pair of Veriity Parsifals ( not Encore ).It was a very nice match and sounded very real to me.
Threshold "T" vs. "S" - whats the differences I owned the s/300 series 2( non optical bias ) and it was manufactured around 1990-1991 if my memory serves me correctly. replacing tweeter help I am not an expert, but I would think that the down side would not knowing which tweeter to put in,possibly making matters worse. Try to find someone who has done exactly the same upgrade or do you homework big time.

Moving from AP Oval 9s to ...? Kharma-Aloia I've just recently upgraded my wires. I also have the Kharma 1.0 loudspeakers, which I love very much. I am using short i/cs ( 1/2 meter and 1 meter ) and a 3'sp.cable. Within the past week I have placed on a new set of Ridge Street Audio "Poiema" ...
Sweetest sounding 12AU7? I actually think that the Amperex Bugle Boy ( Holland or France ) are some of the best NOS tubes available. Many like Mullards and Telefunkens, but for me the Amperex Bugle boys are the best of the best....
interconnect ? Being that you can't afford more than one piece.I would buy the best common size ( 1 meter etc. ) interconnect I could afford ( that has exceptional reviews ) and place it on whichever peice it sounds best . Also your considerations should be with...
