ERS Cloth uses
I have found that ferrous metals seem to reduce low frequency noise while non ferrous metals seem to reduce high frequency noise. Both types of metals seem to reflect one or the other of these frequency bands back into the device that is trying to...
Solid Tech - A new brand for racks and stands
Why store what is self generated? Why slow or impede the transfer, of the negative after effects of what is airborne? All of which is condoned with material selection and geometry. Remember what is stated as inert[by material, geometry or both] is...

So how would you relief the effects of continual self induced resonance and airborne vibration? Tom
Isolation platform for the power amps
So what do you guys use to isolate the mains, drives, airborne vibration,as well as internal self induced resonance from the device you are currently isolating? Tom
Isolation platform for the power amps
I use Sistrum platforms under all of my electronics speakers and subs. Same highly reactive grounding technology I applied to acoustic instruments, some with an increase in output of 1.5 db. I am a dealer..Tom
Cheap tweaks...What would YOU reccomend?
Remember everything makes a difference. A tweak is a keeper and not a deceiver. So said some 21st century non Shakesperian dilbert dude. Apply this platitude while horizontal to your hi-fi. Rememeber ninty degree angles are non musical where ever ...
Do we believe in Machina Dynamics?
A root-channel is the same single imposter Audiofool and Wc65Mustang..Its all in the Audiogon posts. Take a look back in history its the same paid advertiser. Tom
Do we believe in Machina Dynamics?
Audiofool when are you going to be driving the Wc65Mustang again? We miss that narly old ride around here. I suppose he has the same exact system as you. You could both be negative again from the same computer and the same home. Tom
Dark Grey convuluted foam
The problem response area has to measure as the inverse to the foams absorption efficiencyover a pre measured frequency. If not you will have a suckout and lotsa deep dark lifeless soundstage. Try that balancing act on your next year off. Most roo...
Dark Grey convuluted foam
Ozzy where would you put the foam? The TV between your speakers would be the most apparent and logical spot for treatment. I would not use any type of foam product...they suckout to much energy and life and dynamics. The most broadly linear and le...
Do we believe in Machina Dynamics?
They fixed the voice over in the previous re re lease of the directors cut. All of those are previous to the re re re lease thats coming soon.. I do love this movie and its director. This movie is like this thread much the same rehash . Once in a ...
Anybody familiar with Mundorf silver&oil caps
I replaced the output coupling caps in my Altmann DAC twice..and now have the .82uf Mundorf silver and oils in place. Rolls off the low end into the 50kohm input of my preamp at 3.9 hz. Everything in everyway became more musical and more detailed....
Anybody familiar with Mundorf silver&oil caps
Pauly I think your right. Bypass caps in the signal path are a bad thing not a good thing. Material differences and multiple paths seem to result in more noise, often mistaken as more detail. Tom
Preamp Deal of the Century
Tbg would there be much alteration of an experienced tube designers original implementation and resulting power response curves if the end user were to swap tubes? Could these tube swaps result in whimsical colorations to fill some void of either ...
The Room
