Furetech power cable and shielding
Hi, yes you can. Connect it on one side only.  The side where the power enters the cable. Hope this helps
What's going on with Synergistic Research fuses?
@ cakyol I am curious. What is it, you think, a blind test demonstrates? I am asking because most people are wrong about this.
Totally Ridiculous....Auditions on YouTube!
@cd318  “Even on my smartphone speakers I can hear a clear difference” Thanks, much appreciated. The interesting discussion is of course how much worth you should attribute to it, but claiming that differences cannot be heard is just factually ...

Totally Ridiculous....Auditions on YouTube!
@rbertalotto Quote: “When a YouTube developer used this tactic to demonstrate a piece of equipment, all faith in his ability to review Hifi gear goes out the window and he is unsubscribed” I did not talk about reviewing. You claimed that differ...
When CDs first came onto the market in 1982 .......
On some of those first CD’s the (cheap) record companies just pressed the vinyl master onto the cd. Those did not sound good.
Are cables additive or subtractive?
My 2 cents: Cables can’t add more or ‘better’ information than is in the original signal (cd, LP, high rez file, master tape), so cables can only ‘contaminate’ the original signal.  If we call the original music signal “100%” and you replace a c...
Totally Ridiculous....Auditions on YouTube!
Hi, I am a YouTuber. I recently posted a video comparing two loudspeakers. The difference is very clearly audible. If you can’t hear the difference on that video, its not because of YouTube. So yes, you can hear differences on YouTube. HOWEVER…of ...
Whats the weirdest concert you ever attended?
Uhm…that must be Flamenco trash by Nestter Donuts. there were children in the audience. Otherwise I’m sure he would have gone totally naked. Still a lot of fun.
patricia barber - diana krall - holly cole
I’d settle for just Holly Cole and Patricia Barber. Diana Krall concerts are boring AF.
Powered speakers show audiophiles are confused
My experience with studio monitors is that they are very neutral and extremely accurate. The downside is that (FOR ME) they sound boring and very fatiguing in the long run. Too pushy.
Hook-up of Stax headphone amplifier
I have a STAX SRM T1. It has 2 sets of RCA jacks. One set is for receiving a signal, the other set is an output for that same signal.
Connecting dual subs with speakon connectors
@lalitk  YES. Actually, I forgot to mention that I feed both subs a stereo signal instead of a left sub and a right sub. So both setups are correct. Depending on the way you use your 2 subs.
Connecting dual subs with speakon connectors
No problem. Just twist the same colors (from both subs) together and connect as the manual describes (for a single sub). I am running 2 subs this way. Works perfectly.
Why Do So Many Audiophiles Reject Blind Testing Of Audio Components?
I don’t reject blind tests. I reject the claim that it demonstrates bias.
