Klipsch Service, is like calling the Federal Government.....What a joke
You’ve had similar problems with Audio Research, Atma-Sphere, VPI, Sonic Craft, Psvane and other reputable manufactures. I see a pattern, just saying.  Don't forget that little thing called COVID-19 which has many manufactures having reduced staff...
How do you all ensure correct polarity with aftermarket cables?
Every piece of equipment I’ve ever used has these clearly demarcated terminals on both ends, with separate colors to make sure you get it right, how could it be that it doesn’t matter! Terminals are clearly marked for polarity for the sole purp...
How do you all ensure correct polarity with aftermarket cables?
As long as the L+R are wired the same, polarity does not matter since there is no recording standard for polarity when it comes to mastering the source material.
...do great speakers increase in value over time in the vintage market?
I amend the above! Just now remembered my Rogers LS3/5A's cost new $450 in 1976. Now sell used for $1200 - $1600! And worth it! I paid $960 for my pair 3 years ago. $450 in 1976 is approximately $2,050 in today's 2020 dollars.
Why cuts into vinyl covers?
The hole or corner cut was to denote a not for sale promo copy.

Shootout of Nos 6sn7 tubes
Is everyone ordering their 1578 from the same eBay seller?  Seems to be a lot of poor quality and noisy tubes being sold?  Some Ukraine and Russian sellers have been known for selling QC rejects.
Should people who can't solder, build or test their speakers be considered audiophiles?
99% of all Porsche owners will never mechanically touch their cars.
Mark Levinson Owners - Camac Connector Info
Isn’t the Camac used only in the inputs of the 20.5????  The 20.5 uses a normal 5-way binding post for a speaker connection.
Speaker popularity
I remember a thread from way back where someone shared an experience of a vendor at an audio convention that deliberately reversed the speaker input connection?More than likely one of the components in the amplification chain inverted phase, there...
cleaning base pins
Use a pencil eraser to gently rub off the tarnish
Shootout of Nos 6sn7 tubes
When you refer to "closed in highs" do you mean less extension or less high-end energy than 1970s? The 70's 1578 have more high end extension which translates into a more balance sound.
Shootout of Nos 6sn7 tubes
Melz quality controlled started to suffer in the 80’s.  If you want the best Melz 1578 look for a pair manufactured in the mid 70’s.  The hole plates construction is slightly different than tubes manufactured in the 80’s.  The 70’s 1578 do not hav...
WOULD IT BE DUMB TO BUY A MARK LEVINSON NO 23.5
The ML 33x series was plagued with faulty capacitor issues which are very expensive to service.
