Universal player - Multi-channel HDMI question? Welcome to the confusing world of multichannel. Here's what I believe to be true as of now>If you want to play SACD's or DVD-A's in multichannel you're going to be stuck with analogue connections. I don't know of a player that sends the DSD bit...
Recommend Classical Piano LP's The one I keep pulling out is the Phillips recording of Claudio Arrau of the Chopin Nocturnes. I've got the Rubenstein on CD, and love the sound and performances of Arrau. Don't know about availability though.

HIGH end 7 channel amp NAD M25 - It's their Masters Series 7 channels @160watts each and the sound is beautiful. It's the best thing they've ever done - replaced my Cary Cinema 5 which I loved, and it's better.
NAD M55 Universal Disc Player I used the NAD M55 to replace my Lexicon RT10 which I love, but doesn't have HDMI. The NAD is silkier, smoother, and I agree - it's got the tone right. It's seductive, and just sound's right. Biggest downside is that it takes forever to read a dis... |
