Fuses that matter.
Theaudiotweak, I tried the magnets. They were not my cup of tea. Who knows if the Chips would work on them, since we have not idea how they work.
Fuses that matter.
Krell_man, I didn't find the large fuse WA-Quantum chip sounded any different than the small Chip.Mapman, obviously Krell is not talking about everyone, but if you are attending Audiogon, you can afford the fuses and chips.

Sprks, I've been to many, many shows, including 30 CESs and have never seen a cutaway of a speaker.
Fuses that matter.
Geofffkait, the effects of those for speakers are so different from one location to another that you might expect that. Those on cables suggest otherwise. They are hard to get to stick to nylon covers. I carefully pressed them around the speaker c...
Fuses that matter.
Geoffkait, actually WA Quantum has fuses with their Chips on them. There is an interrelationship between WA Quantum and HiFi Tuning. The fuse chips have great benefit on all fuses I have tried. Indeed, the Chips work well in every application wher...

I think Jonathan has been a victim of two factors. One getting a new product into production often runs into totally unanticipated problems. I have personally know several small companies with great new products that have run into just incredible ...
12" Tonearm What Have You Heard & Recommend?
Jomoinc, yes back in my Decca days I had the Decca arm. I also had the Keith Monk's arm and the SME 312, I think it was. The Decca was clearly the best with the Deccas, although even with it mistracking was a problem. The Decca arm will not impres...
Cable elevators - conventional wisdom wrong?
Sabai, I don't hear any real impact of cables touching but great impact from them being on both my hardwood floors or on carpeting. As I said the greatest benefit I get is on glazed ceramics, notably the Rightway Audio insulators. I have a dozen o...
Cable elevators - conventional wisdom wrong?
Stevecham, given how thin chopsticks are, this is probably good.
Cable elevators - conventional wisdom wrong?
I find soft objects dampen dynamics and remove the decay of the signal. Most hard objects, including glass and metals, lack the sharp edge of impact and brass. I think the glaze on insulator makes a difference. Also a single insulator is superior ...
Speakers to hang on to for LIFE
Being in my fifth year as an audiophile and having owned 29 different speakers, I think a speaker that one would stick with for life is very unlikely. I will be getting my latest, BMC Arcadias shortly and will expect to spend many months optimizin...
Cable elevators - conventional wisdom wrong?
Sabai, I understand your problem with too many wires. I also have a problem with stiff power cords. Basically, I will only use the now discontinues Rightway Audio ceramic insulators. Typically, I put one pc in the notch in the insulator and others...
My new apartment has no 3 prong plugs with ground
My parents' house was built in 1948. It had no grounded outlets and used fuses. It stayed that way until 1996 when my mother died and the house was sold. We never had any problems.

Sprks, some people have personal needs.
Halcyonics under my tt. Wow
Audiofun, no Panacea, but these are so superior, that I have lost interest in others.
