Nglazer, they do not and I think it improbable that they ever will. I can just imagine what one of the XLRs would look like with 150 plus magnets within it. I will also say that I have never heard a balanced cable that rivals the best HFCables.
Rhodium vs Gold AC connectors
Audiolabyrinth, I had the Furutech Gtx-d (r) outlets put into my HFC Waveguide power center as well as their Fi-03 IEC and the wire was updated at the same time. I would imagine that both contributed to my improvement. Remember, however, that I ha...
Rhodium vs Gold AC connectors
Audiolabyrinth, you were quite lucky to talk with Elliot. He is very knowledgable and open.I still want to know how IsoClean decides how the directional arrow goes. In my testing of their fuses, I never found the arrow wrong if I knew which way it...
Fuses that matter.
Audiolabyrinth, I don't recall ever seeing a 500 volt fuse. Were your component that expects to see 117 volts to ever see 250 volts, much less 500 volts, you would have a smelly mess.
Rhodium vs Gold AC connectors
I never have had anything with gold plating that sounds good. Everything just sound burnished and slow.

Ketcham, just call High Fidelity Cables.
When is digital going to get the soul of music?
Jwm, if all of the old analog master tapes have deteriorated and saved only in quad DSD, we have to hope the digital is equal to what used to be master tapes.

Ketcham, the terminations on speaker cables are screw on. Tighten them up. I have always avoided bananas. I like a tight connection and there is no tightening a banana.
When is digital going to get the soul of music?
I think this is a dead end thread. I think digital has the potential now to be the equal of master tapes. Sony is supposedly in the process of preserving its master tapes into quad DSD, but using a device with many opamps which are ruining the rec...
Audio Desk Record Cleaner-Anyone buy one yet
Wilcan7, I have an AudioDesk and find it exceptional as one can put the record in a push the button and then go back to listening while the record is cleaned and ready to go when you go back. Earlier I had a special VPI with a Delrin vacuum tube a...

Calvinj, fly or drive down and hear my ss system. I have two solid state amps, the BMC M2s and the LSA Statement that I think will impress you, and one is fairly cheap. Ask Rick.
Fuses that matter.
Geoffkait, I must admit that my reading was most cursory. I was hoping that I could easily identify the best direction. No such luck, I guess. This also leads to the need for science to follow up on this. Why does one direction sound better? How d...
Entreq Silver Tellus grounding/earthing system
Spiritofmusic, how does Lloyd post on What's Best in Audio? There is a Lloyd that posted some on both of these grounding devices.
Fuses that matter.
Theaudiotweak, my first reading of these data, suggest that cryoing increases resistance. I love the Tesla coil treatment that Syn. Res. does but find cryoing questionable, perhaps because some such treatment is not done right.

I was quite impressed with the first HFC Waveguide power center and then thought the first production version I received was even better. Recently, I got one based on the technology in the HFC Ultimate Reference Rhodium power cords. Frankly I thou...
