World's BEST ac outlets.......Maestro outlets
Marqmike, It would be best to seek one of the Hubbells. I will try to get the number on one of mine. It is the Hubbell HBL5362. Go to Google and put that in. They are about $25@.
World's BEST ac outlets.......Maestro outlets
Marqmike, I found that the top commercial grade Hubbell outlet sound far better than the Maestro. I don't think it is available any longer but only cost about $27. I bought about 20 of them and used them all. The Furutech GTX-Dr is my favorite now...
help me build a cheap second system
I have a somewhat smaller room in my NM summer home. It is 13 x 10 x 8'. I use the LSA Statement monitors on false emory stands. The electronics are an Exemplar eXception integrated amp and a music server that I take back and fourth as I do my Hig...
Amp and preamp on same outlet?
I have two dedicated lines, but use only one. The benefits and cost of ac filters mean that I can afford only one and seeing to isolating it from vibrations also means use of only one outlet. Years ago I tried to have each mono block on one dedica...

Swampwalker, I have heard it, but I was totally unaccustomed to the system. I really had the feeling that it was at best a prototype.
The best speaker you ever heard?
I don't think I'm ready for ceramic drivers again. I think the B.M.C. Arcadias sound much better than any of the Raidhos I've heard.

Audiolabyrinth, yes, I would love to hear Audiocrack's response were he to hear his system with HighFidelity cables.
Why Don't More People Love Audio?
Geoffkait, with 42% of all wealth concentrated in 1% of the top wealthy, they are the ones with discretionary money to buy equipment. I am not worried about the need for prices to be reduced, I am worried about the impact of the loss of the middle...

I doubt if cheaper high end would make much difference. Make something that you can sell for $50,000 and sell ten of and live off that.
How does one get off the merry-go-round?
Don_c55, I think it is even easier today.Since even the few remaining dealers will soon be gone, most audio paper magazines will also be gone, and electronic magazines will be available for all perspectives and will disagree on everything, and eve...
Why Don't More People Love Audio?
Mapman,It has alway been expensive and most of us have started off knowing very little. I bought my first system when I was making $99/week and it was a cost me just over $800 or 15% of my yearly salary. Much later I bought the Infinity ServoStati...
Cheap tweaks...What would YOU reccomend?
Justubes2, I also have great results with some of the WA Quantum Chips. The fuse ones, and the internal ones for transformers and capacitors, and some power cords work great, if you can keep them on. I have found no use for the speaker chips, and ...

Geoffkait, as you know I've have been down the path to virtually every tweak as I think I must have been one of the first the try your Teleport tweak. Now with my dependence on a music server and playing double DSD for everything from cd ripped to...

Travbrow, You ask, "Wouldn't it be a shame to get caught up in the cable game thinking its so important from reading hyperbole on the net and neglect the things that matter more?" One would alway be a fool to pay much attention to what others, who...

Keithtexas, I get nowhere with any of your websites. But it is not important.
