PrimaLuna CD Player?
I've been dead set on making this purchase for almost a year and now that it's finally arrived the price has nearly doubled. This changes everything. $1395 was within my budget but $2495 I just can't do. Guess it's the Rega Apollo or Cambridge 840...
Need artist's name
Haven't seen it on vinyl. It's on the Misra label and some of their stuff is on wax but not this on. The album is titled Aw Come Aw Wry. You can listen to Full Grown Man and a few other tracks HERE on their myspace page.

The Phosphorescent album is one of the best album to come along in years but I can't imagine it getting played in a gym. They're along the lines of Neutral Milk Hotel only more chilled out and "earthy".
Pat Metheny Fans, Great Suggestions Please ??
I can't believe no one has mentioned my fave. While not tecnically a Metheny disc he does perform the entire second half of the Steve Reich album Different Trains/Electric Counterpoint. The Kronos Quartet performs Trains but the star of this album...
Wizard of Oz / Dark Side of the Moon
I have to ask Thomasedison...exactly how would you convey a key change via visuals? You keep going on about key changes and I just don't get it. When a song's key changes from Cmaj to F#min exactly how would you show that through a visual clue?
What's your latest "Discovery"
That Feist album is tops. Much better than her debut. She's also in the band Animal Collective which is nothing like her solo stuff.
Stax soul jag
Otis Redding will always be my favorite but some overlooked singers were Candi Staton, Bettye Swann & OV Wright.
What is the one CD you can't find?
Oh...I know how to find 'em I just don't wanna pay what people are asking for 'em. The Tonto's ... was a different one on gemm...the one that I want is almost $800. Someone has one on amazon or eBay for "only" $300. The Stearns disc routinely goes...

Looking for Jazz emsembles with a guitar flair
Lenny Breau hasn't been mentioned yet. Such a shame that he has always been so overlooked. I really like the album Guitar Sounds From Lenny Breau even though it has a few novelty covers such as King Of The Road & Hard Day's Night. There's a li...
music these days....
I have Amy's book as well but my wife is "devouring" it now. Inside there is a very funny page showing the actual "Fu@# It Bucket" from several of David's stories. I'd recommend Me Talk Pretty One Day as the first book of his to read. Side-splitti...
Best sounding SACD regardles of music
Babatunde Olatunji-Circle of Drums. This disc is unreal! Superb recording on the Chesky label.
music these days....
I will try to word this AGAIN in a little less blunt way so the moderator doesn't 86 it. Pawlowski, not only do I listen to cool post-1979 music but I also read cool books. Currently I am reading books by Dave Eggers, Richard Brautigan, Thomas Pyn...
