Possibility that your family members will enjoy or even understand your system is very low so my suggestion is to put bright price stickers on the back panels of your components, and speakers, price tags on cables …. Just in case.

Probably it’s gramophone. Labels are off on those discs and no pockets or any other info on them.

Nice Ceiling Mount solution could definitely impress your company:))) however it also will be pretty functional in it’s direct purpose - vibrio isolation.

Yes it does. I’ve got bunch of records from my father and couple of them r pretty old late 40s-50... those two records are made on some much heavier vinyl also the flexibility of those discs is far from modern LPs. The vinyl looks more like bakeli...

I think over forty is the age when you appreciate quality things more and better SQ is one of them....you just feel that time is running and you don’t want to miss something good... so youngsters will catch up later....now they have other prioriti...

Home Theater Bypass , why am I hearing this now.
I would rather ignore bypass and separate HT track from music audio track. It’s not big deal to get another set of speakers for HT. I don’t know about movies but music audio will definitely benefits from the separation.
