| McIntosh MCD 205 have you tried them in another player ?, I have the same cd player and occasionally it takes aliitle time to read some cds, but then is fine, I called Mac and they said the laser may need to be adjusted. I just haven't done it yet. | |

| Upgrade pre-amp to C2200 or speakers? 100 percent agree with above, I have found electronics make a huge difference, I use a c2200/2751v into a pair of B&W cm2 a whopping 900/pr bookshelf speakers, they just make them fly. | |

| Calling all MC275 MK IV owners.............. I use a C2200 into the MC275 1V and it is a killer, another way you may want to try is getting a VTL 2.5 tube preamp, if you don't need phono they are pretty inexpensive new and less here on the Gon. the 2.5 into the Mac is also a great combo. | |
