What to do with your tax return?
Now if your spouse spends the refund every year, do the opposite. Reduce your wage withholding to about the breakeven point.
What to do with your tax return?
I guess that is BIGGER refund. CPAs can't type or spell; it's all in the numbers. You can also clean out all the equipment in your closet that still has value and give it to charity.
What to do with your tax return?
Just increase the withholding tax that comes out of your paycheck, so you will get a bidder refund next year!! Find a business reason, and/or open that audio store you talked about the other day, so you can write off all that equipment you have as...
What s Your Frame of Reference?
Depends what I am auditioning. I'll pick a big orchestra piece for trying an amplifier, but will go for Chamber Music trying cables. For a preamp I may pick a solo piano recording. If the piano does not sounds right, I can stop right there.

Speakers?

My own audio store
Jeff, I am surprise you are not using better cables on some of your components, especially the tuners. Cambridge Artic to a Complete Tuner and UltraLink Discovery to the Mag-Dynalab? I notice a lot of people do not use expensive cables on their ve...
Speaker Grill Cloth, On or Off
The wood veneer on my speakers look great with them off, but the sound gets brighter, so I leave them on.
Digital transmission cables
The Van Den Hul "The First" makes a very good digital cable. Got a good review in Stereophile. It is an interconnect, but I believe it is available as a single (not a pair) for digital. There is also the VGH MC Silver Digital Cable. I use the LAT ...
How can power cords make a difference?
PS: At the Vansevers website the best place is to click on "Notes" on the left menu. One of the notes is: "Why do things that aren't suppose to have a sound, have one anyway?"
How can power cords make a difference?
There a some very detailed "white papers" on AC power at the Vansevers website; www.vansevers.com
