Magico A3 price increases 50%+ I don’t see a problem. No one is forcing you to buy them and there are a lot of audio components that have or are going up in price. As far as the capacitor choice, the A3 are built to a price point, and the margin may not be there to put more exp...
Opinion on Audio Research DSi200 integrated amp It’s an early Class D amp. I wonder how it stacks up against the newest Class D offerings?
Dr Feikert Woodpecker Acrylic cover Stereo Squares will make you a custom lift off cover. I paid $300.00 USD for a cover for the VPI Prime.
Record clamp I had a Rega Planar 3 back in the early 90’s. I tried a few clamps and weights which were available at the time. Didn’t really make a difference and I never felt comfortable with a clamp/weight on the very short record spindle. I believe there w...
Cullen Cable Drop them an email, that is a long time for a pair of interconnects. Did you already get charged for them?
Gracenote Database - how to add Cover Art manually if not found automaticaly My Sony HAPZ1ES uses Gracenote. I manually put the cover art into the proper folder and then re-scan the data base and tada, all the art work shows up.
Audible illusions Slow customer service I owned 3 AI preamps from 1992-2016 and although I never had problems, I worried if I did that it would never get resolved. That was one of my reasons for trading it in for a Rogue RP5 preamp. I didn’t keep the rogue for very long as I all of a su...
Why the cost increase? I see the forum police are hard at work, deleting posts again. To think I spent 20 minutes writing my post quite articulatory only to be deleted by the police. I would love to know the moderator who thinks any negative thing you say to someone e...
Actual Lead Time on Tekton Speakers @ajzepp,I had a similar problem when I wanted to return a pair of Pendragons in 2012. Eric was so rude to me, told me if there was even one fingerprint on the returned speakers, I wouldn’t receive my full refund. When I reminded him that one speak...
This website has become S-L-O-W The site is still slow to this day. I complained 3 times and 3 times I heard from Tammy telling me the usual, clear the browsers cache, yada yada yada. Same old, same old. I use Ad Blocker and still the site loads slow. The forums are fine, but...
Do you stop the turntable or let it spin while you run e record brush I use the Hunts Record Brush and sometimes the big brush with grounding I bought from MD.
so, i recorded a type 1, normal bias, on a 70s cassette deck, and it sounds FANTASTIC I am surprised those old tapes still even work without jamming. I am also surprised you aren’t getting “print through” on the tapes being that old.
Why the cost increase? @nonoise,well, what devilboy said was all the same bologna that our former president has been spewing for the past 10+ months. Nothing new, same old, same old. It does get tiring though.
Do you stop the turntable or let it spin while you run e record brush On my Technics SL1200G, being direct drive I have no such problems. You can bear down hard on the brush while TT is spinning and the speed never slows down.
Parasound Preamp I guess that is why I didn’t like either one. |
