MA6500 - Static ?!? Is the static coming from both speakers? Is it only when you operate the volume control? Is everything connected properly and connections tight?
Do good power cords have to be stiff? The Shunyata power cords I use are very stiff, the Acrolink power cord is very flexible. I also have 3 of the 7 gauge Pangea power cords which are almost impossible to bend. It’s is weird that these Pangea cords work well with my speakers where ...
Whats playing on your system today? @ozzy the narrative sets up the tone and theme of the album. Starting with the second song (What God Wants) you will hopefully enjoy it. My favorite song is “The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range”. If you listen carefully, there is a lot to hear....
Looking for reputable repair for Sony HAPZ1ES @fiesta75 Thank you, I will call them on Monday. If they will repair it, my wife and I will drive down to them as it's only a 3-hour ride, at most.

Looking for reputable repair for Sony HAPZ1ES @fuzztone, FYI, the Sony isn’t made in China, why the assumption? I don’t want anything else, I want my Sony repaired. I have over 22,000 songs ripped into the Sony, don’t want to do that ever again. I don’t want to subscribe to music services. I...
your first system- I remember selling Goodman speakers back in the early 70’s which had our store name on them as the brand. I sold them with our low cost Sherwood receiver and Garrard turntable for $400.00.

your first system- First system, way back in 1971 was a Sansui 20wpc receiver, Rectilinear 1A speakers, BSR record changer with a Shure cartridge and a Sony cassette deck (pre Dolby B). System was around $575.00 give or take a little. Speakers were connected with 16...
Bigger and Better: Integrated Amplifiers Parasound Halo Integrated updated to a McIntosh MA6600 integrated. This thread is rather silly. If no one who owns a Pathos Classic integrated has moved on, then this thread is already dead.
What a pile of Schiit "Honestly, cost is not the issue" I always thought it was the low cost that attracted people to this brand, no?
NFL Playoffs Starts - What are u listening to? I do not ever watch football. I actually don't like sports, never did, even as a kid. Never any games on at our house. I used to watch golf with my dad before he passed away. Good memories there.
Goodfellas-They Call Him "Tony Two Times" Tammy said IT got it on Friday and it will be fixed next week.
Parasound vs Emotiva Parasound is like a Rolls Royce compared to Emotiva. I had an Emotiva DAC once, the blue LED’s could blind you and the sound brightness reminded me of those cheap $25.00 amps you could buy to boost the car radio way back in the early 70’s. |
