| To buy grounded or not to buy grounded. That is the question. I would bet those ungrounded cords are not U L approved. Should one of them catch fire, would the homeowners insurance cover it? I am willing to bet they wouldn’t. | |

| IN YOUR EXPERIENCE ?? WHAT IS THE QUIETEST 12AX7 TYPE TUBE ??? 6072 ? Spiral Filament The quietest tubes I have heard are the McIntosh branded 12ax7 tubes that came with my McIntosh C2500 preamp. Dead silent, even with the volume control at max, not a peep from the speakers. Not sure who makes the tubes but my guess would be JJ? |
