Kenwood KA 8100 Integrated Amp...No sound in left channel ?
Dirty contacts. I sold Kenwood in the 70’s into the early 80’s and many came into our service department with noisy controls.

Rega RP3 or Mofi Studio Deck ?
Never heard the MoFi deck and not sure if the Rega RP3 is the same as the Planer 3 which is what I had.  I owned it for less than a year and quickly moved on to VPI.  I felt the sound to be quite liteweight.
Wilson Watt Puppy 7
There is a  pair of McIntosh MC501 mono-blocks here for sale for around 5-6 grand.  I believe they put out 90 amps of current each and do 500wpc.
Classe CDP-202 vs McIntosh MCD550 and Esoteric K-07x
The Oppo 205 was very bright and hard sounding compared to either my McIntosh or Esoteric SACD Player.  My Esoteric player uses the pcm1704 r to r ladder dac which I feel is one of the smoothest sounding DACs.

Classe CDP-202 vs McIntosh MCD550 and Esoteric K-07x
I own an Esoteric X3 SACD Player and a McIntosh MCD301 SACD Player and the Esoteric is at least 25% better than the Mac.  I love them both but much prefer the presentation by the Esoteric.

MORE Esoteric problems
So, did it go back to Japan, or did TAP mysteriously repair it?  I ask because I posted this on the Esoteric forum at Audio
This is a brilliant interview of Keith
I prefer the late Keith Moon to Keith Richards.  Then again, I never cared for the Stones.
Did Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" blow up my woofer?
Yes, right out of the box and stock, the Technics took care of the rumble problem and no more woofer pumping at all!  I LOVE both the Oracle mat and the HRS weight.  I owe those 2 tweaks to you and I am very grateful.
Did Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" blow up my woofer?
I used to have rumble problems with all 3 of my VPI tables and nothing worked to get rid of it except a KAB rumble filter for $179.00. My new Technics DD turntable has alleviated the problem so I no longer use the filter.
