Best power conditioner for record cleaner? My priest blessed a gallon jug of Holy Water for me to use for cleaning my records. Not only do they sound like Heaven, I swear I can hear God's comments in the background telling me how much he digs Pink Floyd.
FM vs. HD RADIO.... anybody think FM is better? My McIntosh MR88 tuner does both FM stereo and FM HD. The FM stereo sounds more analog and the HD sounds more digital. My favorite Rock station broadcasts both in HD and FM stereo. Soundwise, it’s a tossup.
What are "true" balanced connectors The Odyssey Stratos amp is not a true balanced amp. The inputs are there strictly for convenience and if you look inside, you will see they are connected to the RCA jacks.

DC Offset Blocker/Killer - where to buy in the USA I am curious how the OP made out. I believe he was going to the dealer earlier this week to get it sorted out. I hope he sees this and replies.
Current McIntosh mc275 Questions JJ has been the current supplier of tubes for McIntosh for many years now. I bought some new McIntosh branded 12ax7 tubes from Audio Classics and was told they are all made by JJ.
Current McIntosh mc275 Questions I checked Audio Classics. They have the IV for $3995.00 and the V for $4495.00. You could call them and ask about the difference in sound, the steered me out of a component that didn’t sound as good as one for less money.
Theta Citidel vs Mcintosh MC 502 You would need to hear them side by side. I happen to love the McIntosh sound so I would be biased towards them. Is the Theata a switching amp or conventional AB? |
