Have Aesthetic Rhea. Calypso and Atlas Amp Have 12k budget for speakers. Recommendations I had the Vandersteen 2Ci, 2CE signature 1, and Vandersteen 3A speakers and all weren’t great on Rock and Rock is my main preference. I was told by others it is due to the first order crossovers. There are much better speakers if you mostly lis...
Can you tell me why I didn't like the Reference 3a MM's? How about the speakers from ZU Audio? They are very efficient and just may be the ticket to happiness.
Audio Rack Selection I have mostly Mac equipment and because of their size, I chose to go with Solid Steel audio racks. Look into them.
Would you donate a dollar to have these Members Review a Product? @tomic601 ………………………………..I am a Fluke fanboy myself. Just bought myself another one with a nice case.
Would you donate a dollar to have these Members Review a Product? @jbhiller...…………………..You didn''t get it. I used the examples, myself included, to show that most likely no one here is unbiased. I don't see it working in these forums. Also, I have a right to my opinion, like it or not, just like you and ever...
What is the current market value of the Classe Audio CA200 and the Classe Audio 15 amps ? I gave away a Classe 15 amp to a fellow Audiogoner. I believe that amp is from the 1996-1999 era.
Would you donate a dollar to have these Members Review a Product? So the ones you picked as potential reviewers have golden ears or what? I can think of many others who I would like to hear from. I have an idea, why not start your own online forum and have your golden eared guys review equipment? Doubtful you wi...
Would you donate a dollar to have these Members Review a Product? No way. The last thing I want to do is read a review of a piece of equipment where the owner is biased towards it because he owns it or a friend owns it. There are already a lot of reviews of equipment by well meaning audiophiles who do not know ...
Advice: SS amp with McIntosh sound without its weight and size? The McIntosh MC152 150wpc amp is 670 pounds or so. Shipping weight is 90 pounds but the 2 boxes, packing and thick plywood amp is bolted to accounts for that weight. I had a CJ MF2550 and did not like it at all. too bassy! You won't get the Ma...
Pops/clicks with Aurender N100H + McIntosh C47 combo My Sony HAP-Z1ES music server is also Linux based and I have no problems with any noise connected to my McIntosh C2500 tube preamp. I am speaking of using the dac in my preamp via the USB.
What if the cable is too cheap that it cannot be that good? The 25 foot speaker cables (Groneberg Quattro Reference) in my main rig were 2K. I recently replaced them with a 25 foot pair of Canare 4S11 speaker cables which cost me 130.00 for the pair professionally terminated. Right now I am very much leani...
Full feature preamp $1500 If you guys want to sell your gear, please use the classifieds here. The forums are not for that.
Bob Carver 350 tube amps I listened to Bob Carvers tube amps at the 2017 RMAF and found them to be wonderful sounding. I heard both the lower powered amp and higher powered amp and both sounded just right. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one of his amps. Bob told me hi...
Yamaha C-4 and Belles Aria help I have heard the phono stage in the Aria Integrated at Audio Connection and found it to be quite nice. I am sure it is as good, if not better than the phono pre in the Yamaha.
Will this hold my 63 pound black beauty??!! Wouldn't the glass shelves ring? That is what I was told when looking for an audio rack. |
