Does anyone care to ask an amplifier designer a technical question? My door is open.
Amplifiers, only the tubes. When it comes to electronics and wire I believe the listener is becoming accustomed to the change. I must admit that I personally in my limited experience of owning new HiFi components I never experienced this  marke...

OP do you believe in the burn in process of an amp that over time the sound will settle and finally focus on a cohesive musical experience or is it to your opinion all in our brain that is adjusting to the sound of the component?  When I mention b...
Drink of choice for serious listening?
When you have at last found your perfect system and your lstening to 'Dance Macabre' by Saint - Saens and you hear that perfect timbre and the expected tone of the violins; this ocassion demands nothing less than the elixir drop of single malt whi...
What is the most memorable concert that you had attended so far?
My most memorable concert I attended was the last one, it was Muse who played at their own home town of Teignmouth in Devon in England.  In my life time I have attended numerous concerts played by famous groups and artists.  However  Muse just sma...
BE VERY CAREFUL OF YOUR DEALINGS ON AUDIO-ASYLUM
I presume the 'tracking numbers' were genuine and finally got your result from the deal?
What is the epic song of a group?
When I was a small boy I heard 'River Deep,Mountain High' by Tina Turner for the first time.  The melody of the song made an awesome impression on me and the hairs on my neck literally stood up.  That was a rare experience....
Insider or Outsider? To be or not to be,...?
I have looked it up, its seems a similar system to ROON where you pay someone to help you in your hobby. If I was a roll over winner of the lottery I would try it, (tip money) otherwise the benefits of the ’Insider’ don’t make any sense to me, but...
A song murdered by someone.
In response to bdp24 post in this thread in regard to the song ’Love Hurts’ I too appreciate deeply the talents of The Everly Brother. However I beg to differ and stick my neck out by confirming that Nazareth’s version was artisticly more poignant...
Is there actually a difference?
Maybe the OP should present his argument on the Naim Forum and see the response.  Naim Audio seem to have a nearly a 'cult' following who share their musical love with the 'Naim sound'.  Maybe they should be invited to proper staged blind listenin...
New D'Agostino Monoblocks...$250,000
I suppose D'Agostino components style in appearance appeals to those who would like something a bit flashy, different and racy  (like a Ferrari sports car) so as to justify the expensive cost.  While on the otherside of the coin in regard to creme...
New D'Agostino Monoblocks...$250,000
If I win Euromillion roll over then I would purchase D'Agostino amps simply because they look so sexy in black and hopefully sound as good as all the reviews seem to confirm..!
Best sounding compact integrated amp < $2k?
Interesting thread I wonder what will Vingard go for?  The Hegel H90 looks interesting but in one review it praised all else as to sound of the Amp but also stated that it's DAC was the weakest link, so it somehow defeats the main aim of this amp?...
Equipment that has made you 'stop' looking?
The wedding ring - the smallest handcuff to mankind!
Worst Rock Band Ever !!!!
I really do not understand why the Foo Fighters are so popular.  The lead singer looks the part, but when they start their music, its just dire crap...?  Their music really gives Rock a bad name and a poor reputation, there is no artistic inspirat...
Most achingly-beautiful music
The door which opened to me to the world of classical music by hearing Richard Wagners Siefried’s Funeral (Gotterdammerung). This music was so powerful, dramatic, alot of tension and so achingly beautifully put together, not only that, he introduc...
