VPI MOTOR PULLEY ?? Basis also makes good tables. I would go used as tables seem to depricate more than most. Service on tables has never been good. In 1970 I wanted a arm board for a current Sony belt drive. I could not fine one and I was living in NYC then I went ...

CD players that make for a great transport My old Meridan, I had both the 200 and the 600 series [602?] the 200 was better. If any of you are still back in the Neolithic as I am they are still good. Use it with my Metrum Octave.
Why are so many companies like harbeth making old speakers designs and charging thousends? When I tried ARs in the early 70s I though that the tweeters has failed. I had been using ARs for years. I have gone through a lot of Brit speakers ever since then. You would not believe how many. Even Had a B&W P2H. Later a dealer for Harbeth...
I used to think passive preamps were superior to active preamps given right the setup, but I can see why the active might be preferred. Try it yourself if you can. the passive is not cheap but great at the price, look at the rating. |
