A bit of an epiphany...with humble embarrassment If you put them on a few stones or bricks it will decouple them from the floor even more and you will get a much more clean sound from the lower midrange on down.
My System's Weakest Link - What Say You... number 10 is your weak link you can find a much more true and musical sound for a lot less money be open minded and try a vintage american full size speaker and see what you have been missing.
A strange business model for audio It sounds like a sign of the times because their are no dealer and distribution networks anymore audio products have become throw away items and they are being built as such it is a sad state of affairs.

2 Ohm Tekton Pendragons There are good sounding amplifiers that will drive two ohm loads but they are very few and far between you have a lot to worry about because the speaker will require four times the amount of current from the amp as an 8 ohm load would and if the a...
Help me with a pairing..... I would look at a really good vintage american speaker made prior to 1981, it will play all the music that you like very well with no tradeoffs for the various types that you listen to.

Bang for the buck vs. “money no object” cable recommendations Kimber and cardas are best bang for buck and their best stuff is about as good as it gets too.
Are there any speakers for nearfield listening that sound GREAT at low volumes? I would consider a larger british monitor with an 8 inch driver like the spendor bc1 or variant for low volume close up listening that is what they are made for. |
