ovinewarI went from a Bryston 3B ST to a pair of 7B ST's.  The difference was night and day and the 3B is no slouch.  I'm running the 7B in parallel mode driving a pair of 2.7's.hth

@arvincastroRegarding Class D amps - I have a pair of the Bel Canto REF600M's.  I've tried them on my 3.6's and 2.7's.  I didn't care for them when compared to the Krell TAS (3.6's) and Bryston 7BST parallel mode (2.7's).  I've since changed cable...

Another vote for the Bryston 7B ST monos with Thiels.I have recently acquired a pair of the last design of the 7BST before they released the SST series. They are running in parallel mode driving a pair of 2.7's with excellent results.
Help choosing an amp for Thiel 2.7s
A little late to this thread.I picked up a pair of the Bryston 7BST amps and am running them in parallel mode to drive a pair of 2.7's with excellent results.  Previously I was using a Bryston 3B NRB and the difference between that and the 7B mono...
Mark Levinson 333.5 vs Emotiva XPR-1 Monoblocks
@levchappy what did you end up doing?  I'm looking at amps for my 3.6's as well.  Currently I am using a Krell TAS in stereo mode.

Reporting back on class D amps and Thiels (in my space).I bought a pair of the Bel Canto REF600M monos back in November to use with a pair of 1.6's.  They worked well however were very recording dependent.  I then got my hands on a pair of 2.7's a...
Give up on Thiel 3.6 or try another amp again ?
I have 3.6 and 2.7.  Neither of them work great with the Bel Canto REF600M amps.  The Bel Cantos however work great in a Wadia 121 --> Bel Canto --> B&W CDM1SE for an office setup.  Usually run that from a computer with ASIO drivers and ...
Ground Loop(?) leads to blow speaker
Update: I went to test the Creek and it wouldn't power on. Opening it up I found the 2 fuses on the board were blown. Unfortunately they didn't blow before the speaker was damaged. The unit even worked a short period after the initial inciden...
