Recommendations for next headphone
Don’t take this personally, but I hate you.
How to connect Tidal to DAC wireless via iPad
You should try Qobuz, especially since you can’t use MQA anyway.
Preamp under $2,000.
On US Audio Mart there’s a Don Sachs pre for $2k and a Linear Tube Audio MZ2 (with upgraded power supply) for $1300.  Both great, but if you can stretch for it the Sachs pre is an end-game level component.  Best of luck.
Looking for headphone amp/DAC
I use the Dragonfly Red and am very happy with it.  I tried the Jitterbug with it and transparency and soundstage were both negatively affected so i just use the Red on its own.  FWIW.
Herron vs PS Audio BHK vs Rogue Preamps
I’d just add confusion and suggest that Backert, Linear Tube Audio, and Sachs would also be worth a look among others.
Preamp under $2,000.
What sound characteristics are you looking for?  What are you using now?
Upgrade to my system - Speakers maybe
Joseph Audio Pulsars are definitely worth a listen.
Low profile CC speaker that is good sounding
If that doesn’t violate the WAF that’s absolutely what I’d do.  You’d probably need to angle the speaker downward somewhat to aim the tweets more toward your ears, but that’s not a biggie.  I think if you go with one of Paradigm’s better centers w...
Please recommend new headphones for listening to Qobuz on iPhone
looking for clarity, soundstage, cymbals that sound like cymbals instead of like, well, like tin cans.Another vote for HifiMan.  I was looking for the same things, and I play drums so I’m very sensitive to how cymbals are reproduced.  I’m using th...
something is not right here and it's on purpose!!!
i had my earth frequency portable wireless device i invented that runs 100% on the earth natural electromagnetic gridDoes this device involve a DeLorean?
Best Speakers for a small Nearfield room, budget at most $10000 (used is also ok)
I’d recommend the Joseph Audio Pulsars, and I think the Usher Mini-x with DMD tweeter is another great suggestion.  Raidho may be excellent in your situation.  Best of luck.
Integrated Amp suggestions to go with Gallo Nucleus Reference III?
Given what your looking to accomplish, I think a hybrid integrated makes a lot of sense.  The Pharaoh is great, but I don’t know that it’ll give you the warmth you’re looking for.  I had the Medusa (basically the amp section of the Pharaoh I think...
Looking for new speakers
Agree with others you likely have a problem somewhere.  If you still have your old amp or can borrow one I’d definitely try that to rule out the Luxman as even new gear can have issues, and it sounds like you didn’t have this distortion problem un...
Partly passive preamp?
There’s a Placette passive pre on US Audio Mart for $1400 that has three inputs and is about as transparent as it gets.I’d also highly recommend a Bryston BP-6, which I owned for years, that is active but is the epitome of the term “straight wire ...
