Albums you do not get...a plea for help and understanding
Very difficult to find any particular artist without a single track I don't like. As for genres, modern country makes me gag, every single song sounds alike. A number of these tunes played in succession gives me bad feeling like I'm being programm...
Footers- Break In? Such A Change.
Ok, while I've never heard a footer break in, it could make sense if compression of materials within footer would settle over time. However, based on weight of component footers under, the exact final resting point of these materials would be high...
Ridiculous sale
I've long wondered why Decware doesn't increase production capacity. They are reasonably priced so limiting supply to price gouge doesn't seem motive. I can only think he likes small operation to keep family like atmosphere. I've been tempted to p...
Streaming vs Physical Media
Yep, ripped better than my last cd transport. Access to so much more music via streaming vs. cd makes streaming a no brainer to me, and I have at least 2500 cd's. Streams  Qobuz and Tidal via Roon also pretty much on par with rips, so sound qualit...

Speaking of American prog r, Starcastle, Starcastle and Fountains of Light. 70's band from Champaign Ill. Yes sound alike.
A forgotten beauty with an amazing voice
Another one that fits beauty on both counts is Susan Jacks of Poppy Family, some beautiful songs here!
What might a good to great 20uF film/foil capacitor for a woofer.
Forgot to mention, recently moved to Jantzen litz wax and solid core inductors, huge improvement over stock Khorn inductors!

I'd go with the VH Audio ODAM, while I've yet to try it, many respected reviewers have and love it. Others I'd suggest are going to be much more costly, large and may not even come in that large value.
Yep much to do about nothing. Fear brains.

@dbb I don't think its that the wrong things being measured, rather they don't have the tools and/or measuring protocol to replicate the complexity of human hearing and individual perceptions of what we hear. In regard to 005, I still question whe...
Innuos Phoenix USB Reclocker - Sounds Worse?
I had very similar experience when adding audiophile switch to my streaming setup. Overly precise outline of images, cookie cutter like. I also experienced similar constraint, less engaging sound quality, much less natural, excessively analytical....
Is an isolation transformer better than a power conditioner?
As I previously mentioned, balanced trans. just sort of there, doesn't add any flavor or artifacts like the other pc's I tried. Vs. dedicated lines without pc, larger soundstage, greater image dimensionality and specificity, higher resolving, grea...

Sallyangie, 'Children of the Sun', very nice, folk oriented, Mike Oldfield of Tubular Bells fame, and sister Sally headed up band. Amazing Blondel, 'Fantasia Lindum, again in the folk, pastoral subgenre.

"Baby Its You", one of the first 45's ever purchased. Band discovered by Del Shannon, song arranged by him as well.

@teo_audio Well said, I too am trying to get past arguing on certain threads here. If the work futility comes to mind, I need to stay away. If one knows changing minds isn't possible what's the point. While its nice to hear from others with simila...
