Getting it on with Prog
My prog interest in brewed by Rush and Marillion so I'm not as prog steeped as many others who have posted, but what bothers me most about this thread is how the OP feels compelled to judge anyone's contribution, as if he's the prog wizard to whom...
replacing tonearm question?
Okay. Quarantine has given me the time to finally do this -- after taking care of other pressing matters, like rearranging my home office, building the boys a pirate ship, tuning and retuning the drum kit, and other really important stuff. I have ...
Has anyone else auditioned something that really was terrible?
Focal Aria 906Though I know they work for many, these were definitely were the quickest "not for me!" reaction I ever had. Their sound was much too dry and flat for my taste.

@marqmike +1 for the Spicas. Heard them a few times but have never owned them. And I didn't know they were made in Sante Fe!
Need help ! Looking for a low cost integrated tube amp for my office
@yogiboy exactly. No inexpensive tube amp is going to do that. I can't even remember the last time I saw one with more than two sets of binding posts. The OP it's better off with a good solid state receiver oh, like the NAD he has but newer.

Would you want to power all 4 speakers and the sub with the integrated? If so, you're going to be hard pressed to find a low cost tube integrated with more than two sets of binding posts, much less a sub out. Have you checked into an upgraded NAD?

How to improve Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill?"
It's such a haunting tune. That reverb and overdubbing and echoes everywhere are absolutely effervescent. I can think of very few other late night driving tunes than this one.
What are you streaming tonight?
Amazon Prime - Bombay Bicycle Club -- So Long, See You TomorrowWith a USB-C to HDMI adapter, I can stream anything on my phone to my Oppo and then to my Pathos. Sweet!  Still doesn't sound as full and rich as my analog set-up, but anyway...
Sales or clearances happening now
Get over your persecution complex, millercarbon. For as much as you kvetch about stuff, the "mini-Maos" let you get away with a lot of sociopathic crud.
Sophia Electric is not honest
They build them in their factory in Virginia. I infer that they are of Chinese descent living in the US in a state called Virginia. I've had several of their amps before; both said Made in the USA.
The Orb......Metallic Spheres
The Orb's Adventures beyond the Ultraworld was a game changer for me back in the 90's. Opened the door to Underworld, Roald Velden, and others.
Useful Information
@schubert Could you clarify what you mean?
