Shootout of Nos 6sn7 tubes
@paul_lindemann   I have 5 pairs of Sylvania vt231.   They are great but with too tight midbass.   If your system is bass rich, they may work well. I also have two pairs of Kenrad vt231, thus agree your opinion on it.   Kenrad may do won...

https://youtu.be/MWXPC04GtHg   Apogee Diva was my endgame speaker on 1989 but could not afford it and settled on Duetta Sig instead. It is available at reasonable price but local pickup only. If I want to get it, I have to drive 15 hours   😎

Shootout of Nos 6sn7 tubes
@tksteingraber   Raytheon sounds most brigh and detailed.   On the other hand, NU sounds full or dull.   Sylvania and RCA are in the middle.   Tungsol is also in the middle but overpriced due to some hype. There are GE or other minor lab...

https://youtu.be/sJmnom97mPE   Lansche 4.1 is one of the best speaker for female vocal.   Its treble is one of the best maybe better than diamond tweeters.   Thomas

https://youtu.be/CMEsv8YeUV4   I had been using Lansche 4.1 from 2006 to 2021 until I got Altec A7. After attending several Audio shows, I am back to Lansche but with different configuration. Using JL Audio Cr1 active crossover, Lansche 4.1 is...
Shootout of Nos 6sn7 tubes
@tksteingraber    6F8g tubes tend to sound fuller than regular 6sn7.   Thus it may depend on your system and taste which one to choose.   Thomas
