Ohms used to be sold by dealers, I know , I sold then -they were so many flimsy ones damaged in shipping and/or just falling apart we dropped them.Regular speaker models, no problem.I'm sure they are better these days .

I lived next door to a  EE Prof at Wisconsin who had Maggies.He told me 600 watts @4ohms was about right ,I thought he was nuts .He played a few symphonies for me on his modded Hafler 500 which he said did about that .He was right .

True Bryston is go to-amp for many Maggie owners .But most buying MMG’s haven’t got that kind of money.As said byJl, Odyssey Kartago is cheapest amp available i am sure willhandle them.I used one for about a year on MMG’s, switched to Van Alstine ...

Well. people do have different ideas as to what constitutes a "sweet spot".On the acoustic music I listened to my 3XRS had a small one and other listeners felt the same . Still were fine speakers .For reference , at time I had MMG, Totem Signature...

Yes a Gallo Tr1, they are very fast and excellent tone . I think all they are selling now is TR3 which is about 800$. I seldom buy anything new, think I paid $250 for Tr1.There is a newer Gallo sub on here now for about 250$ , best buy on here.And...
