4" Carpenter memory foam behide your speakers ???
Yes basically that's it. They come in all sizes and also very large style body pillows. I would think that the larger size body type could be made into a very good tube trap.
Diffusion versus absorption behind speakers?
Draculel: There is a plethora of information on this subject. The science of acostic engineering is as much a science as it is also an art. You must experiment with it as the manufacture's products are used in so many different inviorments that it...
4" Carpenter memory foam behide your speakers ???
PS the properties of the material make it hard to hang on the wall as the force of gravity might have a tendancy to deform the material over time.

Are you ever satisfied?
I stopped tweaking my stereo many a moon ago and I am becoming completely convinced that like real-estate Location Location Location and room treatment are the way to go.I mean spiking and isolation are fine but all that don't mean a hill of beans...
Tube-amp for Magnepan?
I heard the older model MG-3a with an older Classe DR-9 two running in mono. I was impressed with the sound.
Has anyone done a shootout with the vpi classic?
I don't know about the shootout with other vpi tt. But many people and even ones with other vpi models love this unit. One Goner who did not like any of the other vpi offerings loves this table. I would take that as a strong possitive.
Best TT plinth material, cost no object
Buconero117I read that so often to move your TT to another room. My problem with that is, once the tonearm sets down in the groove how much time does one have to run back and sit down and get into position?
Best TT plinth material, cost no object
there is no real one answer to that question. I would say that if you place most TT designers in one room they would all most likely have their favorites and prejudices.
Best Bang for $2000 System Upgrade?
Fred I would spend at least 30% on room acoustical treatment. I know it's not the sexist thing when compared to new gear. But I am sure it will make a much larger difference then any piece of gear purchased.
Help me solve static electricity problem

Looking for an expert on Z-Cable products.
I am guessing that many will say that they are Zbest.....just a little audio humor.
Cable
I do my best now just to sit down and enjoy music and share it with the people I love and care about. I just stay away from things that I assume just might not really matter in an audio system and stay with what works. I wish you the best with thi...
