| how good is the Krell HTS 7.1 pre-amp for 2ch? Yep. I personally feel that the HTS 7.1 delivers 80% of the KCT's performance. In 2-chan mode, I haven't heard better HT processor yet, including the Cary 11b and the Theta CBIII. | |

| 7 Channel Amp Could it be bad extension cord or bad outlet? Make sure your outlet is probably grounded and rated enough for the amp in term of current drawn. If it shutdown after being turn on, something is getting shorted and I don't think it's your amp. QN | |
| Cary cinema 11a or Krell HTS 7.1 ??? Charlie,I'm away from my system but if I remember correctly, inside the audio menu, you can adjust the input sensitivity. Typically, it's default to 50% but I found it best to 100%. It has options for all 7 output channels.QN | |
