Spilled marinara sauce on wood speaker.... You could rub the sauce all over the speakers and they'd match.
Adding Balanced Outputs to your amp? Yes Bob, but the amp is still not balanced, only the cable up to it. This may help for extreme cable lengths but that would be all.
Spilled marinara sauce on wood speaker.... Have you tried pasta?
Burning better CD-Rs from Mac/rec eternal burner My new laptop which uses Vista came with a version of Easy CD Creater and it works well. It also has Lightscribe which is kinda fun. I don't see anything difficult here.
Adding Balanced Outputs to your amp? They would be balanced inputs not outputs. I like balanced signals and use them when possible but I think the major advantage is lowering the noise floor. I don't feel there is a sound improvement unless of course you have very long interconnects....
faint precession of sound on vinyl I am no expert on Reel to Reel but tails out was used for mix down engineers for years to prevent pre-echo. It doesn't fix tapes that already have pre-echo and doesn't work for 4 track tapes that play in both directions. Pre-echo that may have exi...

Burning better CD-Rs from Mac/rec eternal burner Don't use iTunes just use regular CD burning software and drag and drop the titles and then burn making sure to keep the files in the same quality.
faint precession of sound on vinyl Print though on tape is the reason they are stored tails out.
Removing odor from LP jackets, liners, etc I still think the freezer and an open box of baking soda might work. It's easy to try if you have a freezer and a box of soda and a stinky record jacket.
Isaac Hayes The SACD version is good but not great. I haven't played it in a while though. It is hard to find, a vinyl copy might be easier.
Dahlquist DQ12 replacement woofers? I had a pair of DQ-20s before the Mirage M1s. I still have the M1s and listen to them daily at work with a Citation II that I just had rebuilt. I really enjoy the second system almost as much as my main one. There is also a pair of DQ-20s at the s...
Best sounding Krell ? I prefer the 700cx, but would be much more money.
Isaac Hayes I remember him fondly from the Rockford files. I also have Hot Buttered Soul on vinyl and SACD. |
