MFSL moody blues: are they all so good?
The MFSL Days of future past is exceptional and one of the best they ever released. Other releases were good but not up to that standard.
Ayre K1xe vs. Simaudio P7, P8
I have to run balanced and the Ayre is on my short list. Basically, the only other pre along with the Ayre I'm considering is a newer VAC renaiissance.
Do powercords make a difference in sound?
On a practical side.....how many of us have a hodgepodge of cords of different models and manufacturers or worse, running into a conditioner where any difference is homogenized and ultimately inaudible? I know that's my case.I wholehearteldy agree...

Quick poll: Most enjoyable audio magazine ?
For the most part I agree with Ninox but the humor displayed in Stereophile pales in comparision to the defunct Listener Magazine (those brits seem to have captured the market in terms of wit and guile bordering on silliness). There really isn't a ...

Vandersteen Model 7: has anyone heard?
"In his talk, Richard said that they intentionally had chosen electronics that were significantly less expensive than what you'd expect to hear driving speakers of that price. It certainly didn't matter in terms of what we heard."To my way of thin...
