B&K display problems, too dim ! Grr
Better too dim than too bright.
Now they're planning the crime of the century
Still in top rotation at my house. Still have my original LP.
What would be your favorite 3 tracks that demonstrate how great your system sounds?
"...Lucky man? ok playing it now.  Only on little Vanatoos.  Let’s see..."Good luck with that but you probably wont understand why we use that track.
Confused for the best connection between my Elac speakers to power Amp
No worries impedance is approximate. 4 or 8 will be fine. The only real worry is that you have something crazy like 1 ohm speakers and the amp can't manage that low of an impedance. You are fine.
About the importance of the room vs the electronics
"...As @ erik_squires and others have often mentioned ;  the room is often forgotten  We  put too much emphasis on electronics..."A really good system in a crappy room will still sound better than crappy system in a good room.
Advice needed: replacing tweeter in PSB Image 4T
Replace the tweeters with the stock replacements. Play some music with your ear next to the tweeters on the speaker before and after you replace them. They should sound a little weird but you'll hear the difference between good tweeters and broken...
Should I list all my classical CDs?
I would keep them, personally. Things change and you might want CDs to use in the future.
Ready, set, comment! Speaker cables don’t make a difference?
Did I get the video right? The Kimber cable capacitance is 5 times the other cables but he says, that's not so important but the Kimber measures the best, then says to be sure to use Kimber 8TC like I do? I guess my take-away is he likes Kimber 8T...

I have a number of tracks that I use. I still use ELP's "Lucky Man" to see if I can shut an amp down and hear the low frequency stuff. Then Diana Krall "Garden in the Rain" to see if I can hear the noise suppression pumping in and out.
Level matching for a/b testing?
Level matching would work great but all loudspeakers are not linear. Often loudspeakers sound best once they reach a certain loudness level. So if you are comparing loudspeakers, you want them ideally placed and set at the level they sound best.
NewClassic 275 v.2 Two Channel Power Amplifier
I think they are OK, but not anywhere near the A21, a real solid amp.

Back to zip cord I guess...All my zip cord sounds zippy? My smooth solid copper cables sound solid and smooth. I guess I'm fooling myself but if I can fool myself every time I turn on my system, I guess it's working, bring me more of it!
The Contour System – Directional Wiring of Audio Parts
I must admit I have trouble hearing directional changes. How does that mater on an AC circuit? I understand how my copper cables are constructed and use them as instructed but I fail to get the concept into my brain.
Stereophile's 2021 products of the year
"...I am not saying Schiit is the best best all end all of audio but they allows for average people to dip a toe in the water of high end audio..."The best part of this hobby is finding gear that is really good but also affordable but don't discou...

I have not heard the new 11s but I can make a guess. My best pal has a pair of ReQuests and I have the newer EM ESLs and I would say the new designs are much improved over the Requests and therefor the Quests. You would be moving up.
