Recommended British speakers for Creek 4330 Mark 2?
Ok I will look into it. I worked for a Chinese company and you don’t want to know....On the other hand they do beautiful cabinetwork and finish, the hallmarks of Chinese decorative arts. It works both ways—I would never by an English car like a Ja...

Possibly 1k.
Recommended British speakers for Creek 4330 Mark 2?
I came across some earlier Creeks that were made in England, an ES11 and 12. They had a good reputation in their time, in particular the 11. It's tough buying these old speakers because there is often something wrong. I found a pair and made a rea...

Refutation of Exogal CEO Point by Point--readers look this over carefully and please feel free to tell me if I am wrong. 1. CEO is annoyed that I criticized him in this public forum. Had he answered my email made the Thursday before last none of t...
A DAC that ought to be better known: RME
For the first time ever I started using XLR balanced cables and put them on the RME, replacing my usual RCAs. A professional audio fellow told me always to get used to a given cable and then change them over one by one to notice the difference bet...

Jeff we are all weeping out of sympathy for you. Some of you seem to have a predilection for this company but from the above response the owner admits his many failures and expects customers to accept them. Personally I couldn’t care less about hi...

I refer you all to two Audiogon posts by exogal_ceo: one on February 20, 2019 in which we are asked to "be patient a little longer" and the other on November 10, 2020 in which we are informed "you are gonna have to be patient." Today is March 11, ...

"Swindled" may be too strong a strong word because when the apps were available (in my case for several years) everything was fine. I loved the Comet and bought the Ion for that reason, and tried to buy a Vortex. The basic point is that the Comet/...

I agree entirely. But the CEO and Sales Manager are well known figures in the audio world and Audiogon and revealing all this disgraces them and keeps others from suffering the same fate--many people were erroneously giving them the benefit of the...

I never expected a full refund, just some sort of refund for the more recently bought Ion which is useless in itself. I have been demanding a remote for the Comet for months. I suspect they don’t have the money to refund anything because they have...

At the risk of beating a dead horse, the Exogal people know this criticism and others are here (the CEO in an email told the dealer that I "went off on Audiogon") so why don't they respond? If my company's credibility was questioned in a popular p...

Teddy Pardo responded to me quickly. I have heard that Small Green Computer is a good, innovative company but have no personal experience.

Adg101 I am going to take your advice on the settings. It’s very confusing about the power upgrade because one gets diverging opinions. But if you all hear a difference it’s difficult to argue with you. I see a Pardo in my future.

For the record RME doesn't recommend upgrading the PS. There are many ways to adjust the sound of the RME if you study the manual very carefully. In that respect it is a very professional device. On the Exogal and various other more commercial DAC...

Thanks for the suggestions. I do run it directly into the amp. Will definitely get the power supply after a while.
