| Time to upgrade my turntable? I'd also recommend keeping the TT & cartridge but getting a new phono section, maybe the Gold Note PH10 which is very flexible so when you change cartridges down the road it should allow for that. Just my 2 cents worth | |
| Tube based phono stage I've been using a New Valve Order (NVO) for many years just wonderful. It was the rage 5 or so yrs back where people sold their multi $$$$ for this unit. A bit above your price point but look for a used one, unfortunately rarely do they show up. | |

| Digital tweaks or upgrades that do work @audioman58 if you are using a Roon Nucleus then I'd suggest a Teddy Pardo power supply. At $440 it is a well worth upgrade to your streaming enjoyment. | |

| Ultrasonic LP Cleaning vs. “Thread Type” Cleaning (Keith Monks/Loricraft/etc.) I've been using the KM Prodigy threadless machine for several months, came from a VPI16.5 and find it quick, quiet (relatively speaking) and cleans better than the VPI. Yes US may clean deeper but are not as simple as this machine is. YMMV | |
| Possible Cartridge Suspension Collapse? 350ish hours isn't that much and unless you mishandled it should not happen. I've heard of another guy that his Hanna's suspension failed after 500 hrs. Might be time to look elsewhere |
