BPT 3.5 with MF TriVista 300 Integrated I guess you missed the point. I own a BP-3.5 and I have several ampsaround my house -- none of them like being plugged into the BP-3.5.So, it doesn't matter what the manufacturer says -- in the real world,I have found that the BP-3.5 is similar to...
BPT 3.5 with MF TriVista 300 Integrated In my experience, amps do not like being plugged into AC Conditioners.I own the BP-3.5 and I laos have dedicated lines. I plug my amps into two of the dedicated lines and the BP-3.5 into another -- then everything except the amps goes into the BP-...
I auditioned SACD today If the SCD1 can make redbook CD's sound almost as good as SACD, Iwould say that is a point in favor of the SCD1. I have the Emm Labs Dac6. This CD/SACD player also makes redbook CD's sound almost asgood as SACD -- that's one of the reasons I bough...
Now I'm confused, Sonus Fiber Grand Piano's? Tweeters actually carries *some* good merchandise -- you can't hold it against the merchadise. You put a picture of Denise Richards in an ugly wallet -- It won't stop me from fantasizing.
Now I'm confused, Sonus Fiber Grand Piano's? No, you're not crazy -- the Faber Pianos are seriously good speakers --everything you describe -- and they are a great value at their price point.IMO, they beat speakers costing far more.
Which subwoofer should I buy? Help Please What kind of speakers and amplifier do you have? Post your system.
Confused about Krell FPB 300 400 200 Amplifiers If your other components and speakers are revealing enough, Monoblocks will give you much better sound than a multi-channel amp.It would be helpful if you posted your entire system so we can give you better advice, help you decide whether monobloc...
Nautilus803 with ASW 800, or 802 as main speakers? Personally, I would always rather go with a full range speaker than to try to pair up my speakers with a sub-woofer, so if you feel you need a sub-woofer with the N803's, but not with the N802's, for me that factor alone would decide the issue in ...
Stevie Wonder MFSL Innervisions The MFSL Innervisions sounds incredible.
2 channel SACD vs Multichannel SACD players... Without going into the science, I will just say that I have owned two multi-channel SACD players, but have used them both exclusively for two channel listening and they have both sounded great in two channel. When it is said that a SACD player is m...
Jazz drum music recommendations? Max Roach. Look for his recordings with Clifford Brown. He's also on the great Mofi SACD "Sonny Rollins Plus Four." Art Blakey is also great. "A Night at Birdland" is a favorite.
Sonus Faber Cremona Auditors Stay with the Sonus Fabers -- just my opinion.
Satori Shotgun or Hologram Chevelle -- right now, if I were you, I would put my money intobetter speakers, then better CD player, then better Amp. After you've made those upgrades -- on your next round of purchases,I would look into a nice AC Conditioner. Take all the money...
Will spend $ 2500 for used speakers for upgrade. I don't think you'll find used N803's for $2,500. If you do, and they check out -- snap them up! In that price range, used. I wouldrecommend auditioning Sonus Faber Grand Piano Homes, Revel F-30's, and Monitor Audio Gold Reference 60's.
Satori Shotgun or Hologram I would hold off on an AC Conditioner, but eventually you will want to do something about AC Conditioning if you keep upgrading. For now, a power strip with a surge protector is enough. That's my opinion. |
