Home made bass trap FIXED!! Of course the sound is most important, but now that you know that it works, why don't you make a panel with fiberglass insulation and fabric on a frame?
Home made bass trap FIXED!! You're not really going to leave it that way are you? No, you just couldn't...
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". @mahler123 That's true, but living in the past you will miss the present. It's useful to go there occasionally, but not to linger.
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". I think that there's more value in living the right way in the present moment than dissecting the past and reliving pain that we as individuals weren't directly involved in.
Flat frequency response @cdc I agree with you. I'm often surprised when I get to the measurements part of a Stereophile speaker review, and read about strange anomalies of the design, and then see a not-so-good waterfall plot from a very expensive speaker.
Loudspeakers with horn or ceramic tweeter? You need to listen for yourself of course. I auditioned a large set of Zingalis years ago, and they were very smooth and non aggressive. I liked them, but I believe they stopped being sold in this country years ago.

Amp repair Why can't Verrastar repair it? Any explanation from them?
Wanted: Matrix Jumpers Obvious question: Why couldn't he sell you Matrix jumpers?
What is the science behind audiophile fuses? Where's @jasonbourne52
Audio / Stereo Rack @emergingsoul It's pretty well known that well designed supports allow amps, preamps and DACs to sound their best. As someone who owns a high value system, I'm pretty surprised that you wouldn't be aware of that. Casters are no better for amps t...
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". Sometimes a song is just a song. Is it really necessary to micro-analyze and dissect every song, movie, book and sitcom to the point where it's branded as evil and no longer here to be enjoyed? I think that we can learn from history without erasi...
The future of LAMM without Vlad Typical "fluff" human interest article. The writer doesn't even seem to know that there is a high-end community, or that Lamm gear is used outside of a studio setting. Well, at least we know where the company is and that they're still in business. |
