My 6922 Tubes Are Too Bright! The only 6922’s that I have experience with are the Telefunkens that I have in my DAC, and they’re not bright. I bought them NOS from Upscale Audio.
Emerald Physics 100.2SE Amps question It's certainly more than they need. I have never heard these amps, but if they are not bright, and they are balanced overall, and not thin sounding, it should be fine. Is that what you have on hand?
Replacing generic RECEPTACLES Let's not start another political thread. The current one is more than enough.
Can someone explain to me why : Accupahse Equipment is that expensive ? lostbears,That was my point. All good watches will last many years if properly maintained.
Can someone explain to me why : Accupahse Equipment is that expensive ? I think it is overpriced in the US, but apparently more affordable in Japan and eastern countries. Every piece of gear has "a sound", but I don't know what a "dated" sound is, although it seems to be a popular hang tag on Mac gear, which I think ...
Worst Rock Band Ever !!!! jamesfokes,I am so with you on ELO. Always hated their insipid garbage and couldn't understand what others heard in it.

What is the most important component in your system. SOS: Andy Bowman - Vintage Tube Services Great guy. You'll never go wrong dealing with Andy.
What speakers would be an upgrade from my klipsch la scallas and my Klipsch Chorus Wolf,I know what you mean about the ridges, and the horns on my Epics don't have them, so you'll have more difficulty, but remember, it doesn't have to be perfect. Just sit down with a good pair of scissors or a razor knife and take your time. It ...
What speakers would be an upgrade from my klipsch la scallas and my Klipsch Chorus Wolf,I would say take the minimal time required and damp the horn. I did it years ago with my Klipsch Epic CF-4 speakers, and yes, it sounds smoother and more composed.
