Magico Ultimate III - $700,000 Speakers That's funny @samzx12; and you're probably right.
We Can Make Classic Cars Outperform Today's "SuperCars": Why Not Vintage Audio? I disagree. Life is short. If it is in a museum, then it should be completely stock and original, but if I am listening to it every day I want it to sound as good as possible.
Does raising speaker cables off the floor really make a big difference? Yes, at very least it keeps your cables clean, and makes it easier to clean the floor.
We Can Make Classic Cars Outperform Today's "SuperCars": Why Not Vintage Audio? I disagree. Life is short. If it is in a museum, it needs to be original in all respects. If I'm using it, I want it to sound as good as possible. That's what it's here for
We Can Make Classic Cars Outperform Today's "SuperCars": Why Not Vintage Audio? "If one has a Marantz model 7 preamp, 8B amp and 10B tuner, you do not even think about "modding" it. Same with Mac." I don't agree.Life is short. If it's in a museum, it needs to be original. If it's in my system, I want it to sound as good as p...
Why not? @bruce19 Well, now you're starting in on a whole different subject, and what you're saying here is not wholly true either. Many manufacturers go into considerable detail about the construction of their power cords, and their reasons for making t...
Why not? @bruce19 How is it not much of an answer? I think it has been proven to be true in practice. I think that the companies that make amps etc. are fully capable of making good power cords, but part of the fun of being an audiophile for many is to m...

Why not? This question has been answered multiple times. The simple answer is: Why would they? Just because a customer wants a certain amp or preamp doesn't mean that they consider the manufacturer a specialist in power cord design, and they usually want t...
Magico Ultimate III - $700,000 Speakers @asvjerry Well, all that I can say is, I still think that you're a nice guy, but I'm sorry that I mentioned it.
Magico Ultimate III - $700,000 Speakers @asvjerry , I think you're a nice guy, but I sometimes wonder about how your thought processes work. Reading your last post, I can't make much sense of what you're trying to say.
Looking for something to play? I looked Justin Johnson up on youtube, and he is certainly very talented. I liked this version. .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvXsD6dy1QI
We Can Make Classic Cars Outperform Today's "SuperCars": Why Not Vintage Audio? I would really have to disagree with the OP's assertion. There are many classic old horn and direct radiating speaker systems of old that have had elaborate, and more acoustically inert cabinets designed and built to update them, and as you said, ...
Magico Ultimate III - $700,000 Speakers Some people make jokes about them, so they're "haters"? C'mon.
I think I just smoked my Amp Oh, that was hilarious. |
